Job summary

The Jean Coutu Group in Shawinigan is seeking a customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to warmly welcome clients, collect prescription data, and help ensure smooth lab operations in a friendly, professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the first contact with the clientele, so that they feel at ease; your welcome, your empathy and your professionalism will be put to good use;
• Identify the needs of the clientele by collecting the necessary data for the preparation of prescriptions;
• Prepare prescriptions and detect potential problems for the clientele;
• For some PJC, prepare pillboxes;
• Ensure the hygiene and tidiness of the laboratory in order to facilitate its proper functioning.

Job description

To hold this position, it is possible:

• Holding a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) as a Pharmacy Technical Assistance is a strong asset
