Job summary

Pattison Food Group, through Save-On-Foods in Victoria, BC, is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to support dispensing and customer service in a community-focused setting.

You will input prescriptions, handle stock and inventory, and ensure accurate patient data entry while maintaining excellent service standards and adherence to policies. Training and growth opportunities are included.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or two years of dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions and refill requests, input patient and prescription data.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Order, receive, and manage stock, expiry checks, and inventory corrections.
• Adhere to merchandising programs, SOPs and company policies.
• Communicate allergy information and billing details to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Tillicum location in Victoria, BC. You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00
The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
