Job summary

Pattison Food Group is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at the PriceSmart Foods Richmond‑Ackroyd location in Richmond, BC. You will handle prescriptions, input patient data, manage stock, and assist the pharmacist with billing and customer service.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong work ethic and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receiving prescriptions and refill requests, both written and verbal.
• Entering patient and prescription data into the computer.
• Managing stock: ordering, receiving, returns, expiry checks, and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our PriceSmart Foods Richmond‑Ackroyd location in Richmond, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

You have:

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
