Job summary

PriceSmart Foods Richmond-Ackroyd in Richmond, BC is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will receive prescriptions, input data and assist with stock control, while ensuring accurate billing and clear communication with the pharmacist.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or two years of dispensary experience, with excellent communication and a proactive work attitude. Friday pay and team perks are offered.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Receive written prescriptions and refill requests (written or verbal).
• Input patient and prescription data into the computer system.
• Order, receive, and manage stock; monitor expiry dates and inventory accuracy.
• Communicate allergy interactions and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.
