Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant for the Clayton location in Surrey, BC. You will input prescriptions, manage patient data, and handle stock receipts, returns, and expiry checks under the supervision of a pharmacist.

The role requires either an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or two years of dispensary experience, plus strong customer service and communication skills. Kroll experience is a plus. Includes benefits, pension eligibility, wellness program, and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and customer‑focused approach.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive written prescriptions and prescription refills; input patient data.
• Input all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, and returning stock; check expiries and balance owing.
• Support merchandising, procedures, and company policies; relay allergy or billing notes to pharmacist.
