Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Richmond, BC is hiring a part-time Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in delivering patient-centred care and healthy living. You will process prescriptions, input information into the computer, and assist with stock and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.
