Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Kelowna, BC, is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at Lakeshore Centre to support our community with patient-centred care and accurate prescription processing.

You will input patient and prescription data, manage stock, and communicate with pharmacists; completion of an accredited program or two years of dispensary experience is required. Friday pay, benefits, and education support are offered, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let’s get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our Lakeshore Centre location in Kelowna, BC.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Requirements

Compensation Details

$19.00 - $23.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
