Job summary

Save-On-Foods in 100 Mile House, BC, is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to join our community-focused team. You will assist with processing prescriptions, entering patient information, and managing stock and inventory in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

The successful candidate will have an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or two years of dispensary experience, plus strong communication and excellent customer service. Friday pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow are included.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or 2 years dispensary experience.
• Strong work ethic and 'let's get it done' attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

We are hiring for a Pharmacy Assistant at our location in 100 Mile House, BC.

You will be responsible for:

You have:

• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Compensation Details:

$19.00 - $23.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
