Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Delta, BC is seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our Scottsdale Centre team. You will input prescriptions, manage stock, and support the pharmacist in patient-centered care, billing, and safety.

Eligible candidates include those with an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program or 2 years of dispensary experience, plus strong communication and a proactive work ethic. Competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Compensation Details

$19.00 - $23.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
