Job summary

Arrowwood Co-op is seeking a Petroleum Delivery Driver at our Arrowwood location in Arrowwood, Alberta. The role focuses on delivering petroleum products to farm and commercial accounts, while maintaining safety, paperwork, and professional customer service standards.

Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, you will help uphold our community-focused service, complete truck reports, and participate in team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 3 or Class 1 driver's license.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with proof of insurance.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver petroleum products to farm and commercial accounts within the trading area.
• Complete all required paperwork and truck reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain safety standards and complete site inspections as needed.
• Keep trucks and sites in high image condition and ensure cleanliness.
• Adhere to all certifications, licensing, and WHS requirements daily.
• Build trust with customers through reliable service and integrity.
• Assist with training opportunities and company policies.

Arrowwood Co-op is hiring a Petroleum Delivery Driver at our Arrowwood location in Arrowwood, Alberta.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Petroleum Manager, the Petroleum Delivery driver is part of a customer service team that focuses on our member relationships and achieving budget goals while completing deliveries to farm and commercial accounts within our trading area. You will be responsible for:

• Ensure an acceptable level of service is provided, and a professional image is portrayed.
• Accurately complete necessary paperwork and truck reports and submit to meet deadlines.
• Abide by and maintain all certifications and licensing requirements.
• Maintain high image standards on trucks and petroleum sites that we operate.
• Ensure all Workplace Health and Safety requirements are met daily, included but not limited to truck and site inspections for safe delivery.
• Promote high level of customer satisfaction and develop relationships through trust, service, and integrity.
• Teamwork within our Co-op and willingness to participate in community events.
• Take on training opportunities that we provide.
• Follow all Arrowwood Co-op policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Bulk Petroleum and Agriculture. To be successful in this role, you will bring the following skills and competencies:

• Be available to work 32-40 hours a week Monday to Friday with availability to work overtime, the occasional stat holiday and weekends during spring and harvest.
• You have a valid Class 3 or Class 1 Drivers License.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience with a Class 3 or Class 1 License with proof of insurance is required.
• You must submit your drivers abstract and proof of insurance with your application.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
