Job summary

Lloydminster & District Co-op Propane is seeking a Seasonal Bulk Delivery Driver to reliably serve farm and commercial customers with a positive, professional approach.

Responsibilities include delivering propane, operating the vehicle’s metering system for customer billing, collecting payments, completing daily logs and pre‑trip inspections, and keeping the delivery unit clean and safe while adhering to Co‑op policies.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and written/verbal skills.
• Ability to problem solve and work with others.
• Follow safe work procedures and maintain accuracy in logs.
• Maintain clean and safe delivery unit and report hazards.
• WHMIS, TDG, First Aid and H2S certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to farm and commercial customers.
• Operate vehicle metering system for customer billing.
• Collect payments when required.
• Complete daily declining balance reports and pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain and clean the delivery unit; load/unload propane as needed.
• Record driver hours and keep logs up to date.
• Adhere to Co-op policies and safety procedures.
• Assist in other areas as assigned.

Job description

The Lloydminster & District Co-op Propane department is currently recruiting for a Seasonal Bulk delivery driver.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• To come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
• To deliver product in a professional and efficient manner to farm and commercial customers.
• Must have the ability to operate the metering system in the vehicle for customer billing.
• Collect payment from customer as required.
• Fill out daily declining balance report.
• Complete a pre-trip inspection every morning before operating the truck.
• Must be able to operate a tandem truck; Class 1 or 3 license with air endorsement.
• Responsible to maintain and clean the delivery unit.
• Responsible for loading and unloading propane on the bulk truck and end use containers.
• Keep accurate and timely driver reports and logs.
• Record driver hours of service.
• To be familiar with and adhere to Co-op policies and procedures.
• To always practice safe handling procedures with all product and equipment; report hazardous conditions to management.
• Assist in other areas as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA’s):

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to problem solve
• To be able to work effectively with other staff, supervisors and customers
• Ability to follow safe work procedures
• Strong attention to detail

Education and Experience:

• Previous propane experience an asset
• Must produce a clean drivers abstract
• Must hold a valid class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air brake endorsement
• WHMIS, TDG certifications
• First Aid Certification
• H2S Certification
