Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Personal Lines insurance experience.
• Experience servicing an assigned book of business.
• Experience with Home and Auto insurance.
• Strong understanding of Personal Lines products and coverages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Comfortable identifying cross-selling and new business opportunities.
• RIBO or OTL license is an asset.
• EPIC experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service an assigned Personal Lines book of business.
• Provide clients with advice regarding insurance products, coverage, and options.
• Handle Home, Auto, and Property insurance inquiries and servicing.
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and other client requests.
• Prepare and submit applications, quotes, policy documentation, and proposals.
• Review client coverage and identify opportunities for additional coverage or cross-selling.
• Support renewal activities and proactively address client needs.
• Handle client inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Assist clients with first reports of claims and follow up as required.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Ensure policies and documentation comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
• Maintain accurate client records and notes within EPIC.
• Manage daily workflow and prioritize transactions to ensure timely and accurate service.
• Stay up to date on insurance products, coverage changes, legislation, and industry developments.

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established, mid-sized insurance brokerage with a strong presence across Ontario. They are looking for a Personal Lines Broker to join their Kincardine, ON office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Personal Lines professional who enjoys building strong client relationships, managing an existing book of business, and providing knowledgeable advice acrossHome, Auto, and Property insurance.

The role is primarily service-focused, with the opportunity to participate in sales and generate new business.There are no assigned sales targets, allowing you to develop new business through referrals, family and friends, walk‑ins, and other opportunities.

What You'll Do
