Job summary

Scrivens Insurance Brokers in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a self‑motivated Personal Insurance Broker – RIBO Licensed. This role focuses on personal lines, promoting new accounts and servicing a dedicated client base with hours 9 am–5 pm, Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will be organized, detail‑oriented and able to educate clients on insurance options. Strong written and verbal communication is essential; bilingualism is an asset and experience with standard office software is helpful.

Qualifications

• 3 years of insurance industry experience.
• Bilingual is an asset.

We currently have an opening for a self‑motivated, highly organized, and capable individual to work as our team's personal lines account manager. The hours of this position are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

• Promote new personal lines insurance accounts
• Service assigned section of the personal lines’ clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Stay current in an evolving industry to educate clients on insurance and find solutions

Qualifications

• R.I.B.O. license required
• Experience with Applied EPIC, Applied Rater, and MS Office is an asset
• Ability to be a self‑starter with strong written and oral communication skills as well as organizational skills
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• 3 years of insurance industry experience.
• Bilingual is an asset.
