Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee. You will engage customers with daily banking needs, guide them to the right specialists, and help them understand digital banking options, including mobile and online services.

You will support front-line staff with cash and non-cash transactions, contribute to process improvements, and ensure documentation aligns with TD's Code of Conduct and regulatory requirements. Mobility within the district is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC or equivalent – within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and branch software.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, and digital education.
• Understand customer needs and guide to the right contact for solutions.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking.
• Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions.
• Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience.
