Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Langley, BC is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee to help customers with daily banking needs, new accounts, and investment guidance. You will be directed to the right team member for complex queries and supported in a structured training program.

Typical day includes assisting customers with transactions, digital education, and promoting TD banking solutions while adhering to regulations. Mobility within the assigned region is required upon completion of training.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• IFC (Investment Funds Canada) or equivalent within 90 days of start date.
• Post-secondary degree preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and branch software.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs, service transactions, digital education, and customer problem resolution related to banking solutions.
• Guide customers to the right contact for appropriate solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Build customer confidence in digital banking by educating on mobile, ATM, and online banking.
• Support frontline staff with scheduled cash and non-cash transactions and report non-standard matters to management.
• Recommend improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and compliant with regulations and TD's Code of Conduct and Ethics.
• Promote teamwork and personal development to achieve common goals.
