Job summary

TD Canada Trust is seeking a Personal Banking Associate Trainee in Calgary to help customers with their financial needs, including new accounts and investment advice. You will guide customers to the right staff, educate on digital banking, and support frontline operations with accurate documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and/or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• IFC or equivalent – within 90 days of start date.
• Post-Secondary or Undergraduate degree (in related field) preferred.
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook), branch software and internet.
• Knowledge of banking solutions and processes to advise customers.
• Self-starter who works independently in a dynamic environment with strong admin, org, planning and time management skills.
• Dynamic, diligent influencer with can-do attitude to exercise initiative and handle several tasks and changing priorities.
• Strong communicator with customer experience skills who can connect with customers and teams in a courteous and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in day-to-day advice needs and banking transactions.
• Guide customers to the right contact for solutions while handling confidential matters.
• Educate customers on mobile, ATM, and online banking trends.
• Support frontline staff with cash and non-cash transactions and report issues.
• Suggest improvements to branch operations to enhance customer experience.
• Complete business processes and procedures accurately and on time.
• Ensure documents reflect business intent and comply with regulations and TD Code of Conduct.
