Description du poste

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Performance Marketing Lead (User Acquisition) based in Canada.

We are looking for an experienced Performance Marketing Lead to drive user acquisition strategies and accelerate profitable growth across multiple digital channels and international markets. In this role, you will take ownership of paid acquisition campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, and AppLovin, ensuring strong performance and sustainable returns. You will manage substantial advertising budgets, optimize customer acquisition costs, and maximize return on advertising spend and customer lifetime value. Working closely with creative and marketing teams, you will develop data-driven campaigns, test new concepts, and continuously improve conversion performance. You will also leverage advanced attribution tools and user analytics to identify growth opportunities and make informed investment decisions. This is an exciting opportunity to shape acquisition strategies and make a measurable impact in a fast-growing, technology-driven environment.

Accountabilities
  • Plan, execute, manage, and optimize paid user acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google, TikTok, AppLovin, and other relevant advertising platforms.
  • Manage and allocate significant advertising budgets based on key performance indicators, including customer acquisition cost (CAC), return on ad spend (ROAS), customer lifetime value (LTV), and payback periods.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, conversion funnels, and user cohorts to identify opportunities for improving acquisition efficiency and overall profitability.
  • Design and implement structured experiments across audience segments, bidding strategies, landing pages, and creative formats to improve conversion rates and reduce acquisition costs.
  • Collaborate closely with creative and marketing teams to develop, test, and refine advertising concepts, messaging, and formats using performance insights to guide creative production.
  • Measure and evaluate acquisition effectiveness through attribution platforms, cohort analysis, and incrementality testing.
  • Develop and execute user acquisition strategies across multiple markets, identifying opportunities to expand campaigns and reach new audiences.
  • Scale successful campaigns while maintaining acquisition costs and profitability within established business targets.
  • Make data-driven decisions regarding campaign optimization, budget distribution, audience targeting, and channel performance.
  • Take direct ownership of campaign execution and continuous improvement, ensuring marketing investments generate measurable and sustainable business results.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, or user acquisition, ideally within mobile gaming or consumer mobile applications.
  • Proven hands-on experience planning, managing, and optimizing paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, and AppLovin.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage substantial advertising budgets and scale acquisition campaigns while consistently meeting customer acquisition cost and profitability objectives.
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing metrics and methodologies, including CAC, ROAS, LTV, cohort analysis, attribution models, and payback periods.
  • Practical experience with mobile measurement and attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer or Adjust.
  • Experience designing and executing creative testing strategies, interpreting results, and using performance insights to improve advertising effectiveness.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to interpret campaign-level and user-level data, identify performance challenges, and make informed budget allocation decisions.
  • A proven track record of personally managing and optimizing acquisition campaigns rather than focusing exclusively on agency coordination or high-level strategy.
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across creative, marketing, and other business teams.
  • A results-oriented mindset, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to balance growth ambitions with acquisition efficiency and long-term profitability.
Nice-to-have qualifications
  • Experience scaling user acquisition campaigns within the mobile gaming industry.
  • Previous responsibility for managing paid acquisition strategies across multiple countries and international markets.
  • Familiarity with incrementality testing, marketing mix modeling (MMM), and advanced attribution methodologies.
  • Experience acquiring customers for fintech, insurance, financial services, or other consumer financial products.
Benefits
  • Fully remote working arrangement, offering the flexibility to work from different locations.
  • Full-time opportunity within an international and multicultural working environment.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the growth of innovative, next-generation digital and financial products.
  • Exposure to large-scale user acquisition campaigns and substantial advertising budgets.
  • Opportunity to take ownership of marketing strategies and directly influence business growth and profitability.
  • Collaboration with international teams representing diverse professional backgrounds and nationalities.
  • An ambitious, performance-driven environment that encourages innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Opportunities to develop expertise in advanced digital advertising platforms, attribution technologies, and data-driven marketing strategies.
