Professional Staffing is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage the full biweekly payroll for approximately 600 employees across Canada and the United States. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, expertise in Ceridian Dayforce, and the ability to improve payroll processes.

Qualificações

• Diploma or post-secondary education in Business Administration, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll experience.
• Hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce is required.
• Experience with Sage 50 Accounting Software.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and SUMIFS.

Responsabilidades

• Process biweekly Canadian and U.S. payroll for ~600 employees using Ceridian Dayforce.
• Review timesheets for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with staff and managers.
• Prepare payroll journal entries and post to Sage 50.
• Calculate and remit deductions and taxable benefits.
• Prepare ROEs and year-end forms (T4s, T2200s).
• Identify payroll process improvements and ensure compliance.
