Job summary

Town of Saugeen Shores is seeking a Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator for a 10-month contract. The role covers payroll, HRIS maintenance, benefits/pension administration, and reporting, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and process improvement.

You will support recruitment, onboarding, and HR initiatives while ensuring compliance with Ontario regulations and collective agreements. This is a temporary, full-time position based in Saugeen Shores.

Qualifications

• Post secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources.
• Experience with payroll systems and HRIS.
• Knowledge of Ontario payroll laws and regulations.
• Three years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
• Maintain the HRIS and generate reports.
• Administer Benefit and Pension plans.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding.
• Provide HR administrative support and organize training.
