Job summary

Voyago is seeking Full time and Part time Patient Transfer Attendants for the GTA (Etobicoke, ON) region. You will be responsible for the safe transport of patients by stretcher or wheelchair and must deliver excellent customer service and communication.

Requirements include First Responder, AEMCA, Paramedic Diploma (year 1), or Firefighter with EMR. A valid BLS/CPR, G class license, and ability to lift 250+ lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Requires valid First Aid/CPR certification or EMT/paramedic pathway in progress.
• Valid G class driving license is required.
• Ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
• Strong English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients safely by stretcher or wheelchair to/from healthcare facilities, nursing homes, or private residences.
• Provide outstanding customer service and clear communication with patients and staff.

Voyago is hiring Full time and Part time Patient Transfer Attendants to fill current open position for our GTA (Etobicoke, ON) region

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

Requirements

• You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification
• You have a Valid BLS certificate or CPR Level HCP
• You possess a valid G class driving license
• You can remain calm in an emergency situation
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
• You can work 12hrs floating with a start time anytime between 6am and 12pm including every other weekend
• Part time (2-3 shifts per week, including ever other Saturday)
• Full time (3-4 shifts per week, including every other weekend)
