Job summary

Voyago is hiring a Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants in London, Ontario. You will transport patients safely by stretcher or wheelchair to and from facilities, while delivering excellent customer service and clear communication with staff.

The role requires weekend availability, a valid G license, immunization records, and the ability to lift 250+ lbs with a partner. Training and growth opportunities are provided by Voyago.

Responsibilities

Job description

Voyago is currently recruiting for Part-Time Patient Transfer Attendants in London, Ontario.

Your Role

• You are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence
• You can provide outstanding customer service
• You have excellent communication skills

The Patient Transfer Attendant in London is a unionized position.

Shifts: You must be available to work throughout the week, as well as work multiple weekends per month

Hourly Wage: $20.01 per hour

Your Profile

• You have a valid First Responder Certification OR AEMCA, OR are working towards a Paramedic Diploma (must be finished year 1) OR are a Firefighter with Emergency Medical Responder Certification.
• We require Basic Life Support certification (HCP)
• You possess a valid G class driving license.
• You have the ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.
• You can effectively communicate in both verbal and written English.
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean Criminal Record Search with Vulnerable Sector screening
• You have up to date immunization records and can provide the following records of: MMR, DPT, Polio, Varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19 (2 doses), TB Skin Test (Step 1) *must be valid within last 12 month.
• You have successfully completed High School or can provide proof of equivalency or post-secondary diploma
