We are currently looking for a Pastry Cook to join our team at Coast Restaurant.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Creating and preparing confectionery and pastry-based items according to the menu.
  2. Inspecting ingredient quality and measuring ingredients accurately for recipes.
  3. Executing pastry orders as per specifications and garnishing requirements.
  4. Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, health, and safety policies.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a pastry cook, baker, or similar role.
  2. Completion of a pastry culinary program is an asset.
  3. Food Safe certification or willingness to obtain it.
  4. Energetic with a passion for desserts and a positive attitude.
  5. Creative in design and decorating.
  6. Knowledge of kitchen equipment.
  7. Understanding of measurements and portions.
  8. Ability to follow instructions.
  9. Team player with good camaraderie.
  10. Physical stamina to lift moderate weights and stand for long periods.
  11. Organizational skills.
