NationaLease, headquartered in Canada, is seeking a Parts Technician - JM for Bobcat of Edmonton to join our team. You will manage and dispense parts inventories and handle inquiries from internal and external customers, ensuring accurate product recommendations and timely service.

The role focuses on accurate order processing, customer satisfaction, and inventory control in a fast-paced setting, with emphasis on documentation and teamwork. Prior CDK software and MS Office experience are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
• Journeyman status required.
• Experience with CDK software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and dispense parts inventories for automotive and heavy duty sectors.
• Handle incoming parts inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
• Determine customer requirements and recommend specific products and solutions.
• Cross-sell, upsell, and promote promotional items to increase order size.
• Process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns accurately.
• Maintain records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
• Conduct weekly, monthly, and yearly inventory counts.
• Classify cores and manage returns per vendor programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Parts Technician- JM, you will manage and dispense parts inventories, including automotive and heavy duty. Other job duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Handling incoming parts inquiries from internal and external customers via phone, email or in person.
• Determining customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions.
• Recommending alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications.
• Increasing sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on-sales and offering promotional sale items.
• Accurately processing customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns.
• Maintaining accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers.
• Performing weekly cycle counts as well as monthly and yearly inventory counts.
• Apply core standards to returns; classify cores according to vendor programs.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years related industry experience.
• Journeyman Needed.
• Knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with CDK software needed.
• Strong customer service, troubleshooting and communication skills, with experience analyzing and resolving customer service and client issues.
• Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and organize workload.
• Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
