Northern Strands Group of Companies is seeking a detail-driven Parts Technician for Certified Sales & Rentals in Saskatoon. You will source and purchase mechanical parts, process POs in Sage 300, and coordinate with suppliers to meet delivery timelines.

Your role includes inventory management, estimating part costs, and supporting the Lead Service Writer to ensure accurate pricing and timely orders. A strong English communicator with basic IT skills thrives here.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Parts Technician Journeyperson or similar certification is asset.
• 2+ years in mechanical shop, parts management or related role.

Responsibilities

• Source and order all parts required for jobs.
• Provide accurate estimates based on part and equipment specs.
• Mark materials with identifying information.
• Verify part numbers and descriptions.
• Monitor delivery lead times with Lead Service Writer.
• Contact multiple suppliers for competitive pricing.
• Respond to calls and emails; route communications.
• Process and receive purchase orders through Sage 300.
• Maintain mechanical parts inventory levels and min/max tracking.
• Expedite orders and assist with cycle/annual counts.
