Job summary

Westerra Equipment in Nanaimo is seeking a Parts Person to join the Parts Department. You will handle parts sales, shipping and receiving, look up and source parts, and process invoices, core and warranty returns.

You will interact with customers, maintain the sales floor, follow SOPs, and participate in training to stay proficient. A Grade 12, experience in automotive/industrial parts, and a valid driver's license are preferred; Red Seal is an asset.

Qualifications

• Red Seal Parts Person certificate is an asset.
• Completion of Grade 12.
• 2–4 years of related training and experience.
• Experience in an Automotive/Industrial parts department will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to address their requirements and queries.
• Sell parts to meet customer needs and repair problems.
• Record all parts sales transactions and manage invoices, cores and warranties.
• Handle shipping and receiving of inventory and help maintain the retail floor.
• Follow cash, credit, and cheque SOPs and use dealership systems.
