Job summary

Velocity Vehicle Group in Saanichton, BC is seeking a knowledgeable Parts Technician to join our fast-paced team. You will work with technicians, customers, and suppliers to ensure the right parts are available when needed, helping keep operations running smoothly on the road.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of parts experience, strong knowledge of truck/trailer parts, and proficiency with dealership software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Parts Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of truck, trailer, and equipment parts.
• Experience working in a dealership, fleet, or repair environment.
• Proficiency with inventory management and dealership software systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts and shipments.
• Source, quote, and supply truck and trailer parts.
• Support service technicians with parts identification and availability.
• Process customer orders, returns, exchanges, and warranty claims.
• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and stock management.
• Coordinate parts transfers and deliveries as required.
• Provide prompt and professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.
• Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and organized.
• Keep customers and technicians informed on order status and availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts department.
• Support other departmental needs and special projects as assigned.
