Job summary

Pfaff Subaru in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Parts Advisor to join our team. You will handle parts picking, delivery to internal customers, and keep a clean, well-stocked inventory. Responsibilities include receiving goods, assisting customers in selecting parts, quoting prices, and coordinating with technicians.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive field.
• 3 years of working experience as a Parts Advisor.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence and a clean driving record.
• Aptitude for numbers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented and organized with multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving goods and report discrepancies.
• Assist customers in selecting required parts.
• Inform customers of companion parts and specials.
• Answer phone calls and provide price quotes.
• Use company vehicle to drop off or pick up parts.
• Pick parts and deliver to technician’s work bench.
• Return unused parts to stock.
• Perform other duties as required by Parts Manager.

As a Parts Advisor, you willbe responsible forthe picking of parts and their delivery to internal customers and helping tomaintaina clean and well stocked inventory.

Here’s WhatYou’llbe Doing:

• Assistswith receiving goods, check and count items unloaded from the suppliers and report any discrepancies to management.
• Assistsall customers in selecting required parts ensuringoptimumcustomer service.
• Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Answers phone calls,providingprice quotes and other information.
• Uses company vehicle to drop off or pick up parts from suppliers/customers.
• Picks parts using picking ticket and deliver to technician’s work bench.
• Returns all parts from workshop that are not needed or required by technicians.
• Performs other duties as required by the Parts Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in automotive field.
• 3 years of working experience as a Parts Advisor.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Aptitude for numbers.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills.
• Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
