Job summary

Pfaff Subaru in Guelph, Ontario is seeking a Detailer to keep vehicles showroom-ready and customers impressed. On-site role reporting to the Service Manager, with 8-hour shifts and full-time hours. The position offers a starting wage and opportunities within the Pfaff Automotive Partners network.

You will wash exteriors and interiors, apply tire dressing, inspect for defects, and help maintain showroom and stock cars. Requires 1+ year detailing experience and a valid Ontario driver's license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in automotive detailing.
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Able to work cohesively with staff and managers as a team.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Service Manager on site and lead vehicle detailing.
• Wash exterior, clean interior, windows, and doorjambs.
• Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean condition.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Restore appearance of engine area, rugs, upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles for dents, scratches, or mechanical issues.
• Clean interior leather and treat fabrics for stains.
• Vacuum interior to remove dirt.
• Apply wax and buff surfaces.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Service Manager.

What You’ll Do:

• You will be reporting to the Service Manager working onsite and at the forefront of making vehicles look their best.
• Washes vehicle exterior cleans interior and exterior windows and wipes down doorjambs.
• Maintain showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Restore appearance of engine area, rugs and upholstery, and painted surfaces.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery and poor mechanical operation.
• Clean interior leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals.
• Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Apply wax to auto body and wipes or buffs surfaces.
• Perform other tasks by the Service Manager to ensure the successful operation of the dealership.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1+ years of experience in automotive detailing
• Valid Ontario Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract.
• Detail oriented, excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
