Job summary

Kontoor Brands in Banff is seeking a Part Time Sales Lead to open/close the store, support sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will work under the Store Manager, uphold merchandising standards, and implement customer engagement strategies to grow loyalty and sales.

The role emphasizes brand experience, team collaboration, and maintaining store operations while supporting the squad with flexible scheduling and weekend availability in a busy, outdoor-focused retail environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Retail or customer-facing experience preferred but not required.
• Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business.
• This role requires a minimum availability of 30 hours per week including one weekend day and rotating holidays, additional availability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Assist in daily store operations, including opening and closing, freight processing, accurately process transactions, handle cash, and maintain point-of-sale integrity.
• Follows company and store policies, procedures, and operational guidelines; communicates concerns to store leadership.
• Assigns tasks to team members as directed to support operational needs.
• React quickly to all customers and/or employee injuries and report them immediately to the Manager on Duty.
• Participates in Loss Prevention Audits, understands and complies with company loss prevention policies to minimize store shrink.
• Acts as Manager on Duty in the absence of the other members of the leadership team.
• Regularly communicates any employee’s concerns directly to the Store Manager.
• Assists with onboarding and training new team members in sales behaviors, customer service expectations, and store procedures.
• Addresses customer concerns professionally and in accordance with company guidelines.
