Job summary

Save-On-Foods Meadows in Edmonton, AB is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant. You will join Pattison Food Group's Western Canadian operations, helping deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced community setting.

Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, computer entry, stock management, and assisting the pharmacist with billing and patient information. We offer benefits, learning opportunities, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.
