Save-On-Foods in Calgary, AB is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant at the Hunterhorn location. You will handle prescriptions, input patient data, manage stock, and support the pharmacist with billing and allergy information.

Formación

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let’s get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Receiving prescriptions and refill requests, verbally or in writing.
• Inputting patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Ordering, receiving, returning stock, expiry checks, and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interactions and billing information to the pharmacist.

Responsibilities

• Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests.
• Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer.
• Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving, and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections.
• Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies.
• Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited Pharmacy Assistant Program or have 2 years dispensary experience.
• A strong work ethic and "let’s get it done" attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Kroll computer experience is an asset.
