AgeCare Mount Royal in Calgary, Alberta is seeking a Health Care Aide (HCA) for a part-time, temporary position. You will join a care team and assist residents with daily activities under the supervision of a Staff Nurse, following care plans and safety procedures.

The role requires English fluency, PCA/HCA certification, and CLHA registration. Prior continuing care experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and teamwork in a supportive environment.

Qualifikationen

• One year of experience in continuing care or related environment is preferred.
• Post-secondary education an asset.
• Must be fluent in English, both orally and in writing.
• Completion of a recognized PCA/HCA certificate or equivalent.

Aufgaben

• Bath, shower, and wash residents according to the care plan.
• Transfer/assist with resident transfers using mechanical lifts and transfer belts.
• Feed residents during meals and snacks per diet plan.
• Provide routine skincare and basic care under the direction of a Staff Nurse.
• Assist residents to travel about the facility and to dining areas.
• Accompany residents to social and therapy activities within the facility.
