Job summary

The Crisis Centre BC is seeking a part-time Assistant, Community Learning & Engagement to support planning, coordination, and delivery of Community Learning & Engagement programs.

The role emphasizes organized administration, event logistics, and delivering accessible workshops for community partners and participants. Ideal candidates bring nonprofit experience, strong Microsoft Office and CRM skills, and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or certificate in Office Administration, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum one (1) year of related administrative experience.
  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
  • Experience in nonprofit sector and coordinating events/workshops is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate CLE events: planning, logistics, and ensuring consistent delivery.
  • Maintain workshop records, registrations, and program documents for reporting.
  • Provide onsite and virtual event support, including materials and tech setup.
  • Complete event close-out activities, including materials and records.
  • Support departmental operations: records, supplies, invoicing, and reports.
