The Crisis Centre BC is seeking a part-time Assistant, Community Learning & Engagement to support planning, coordination, and delivery of Community Learning & Engagement programs.

The Crisis Centre of BC provides barrier-free emotional support, suicide prevention services, and community education throughout British Columbia. Since 1969, we have worked to ensure people have access to compassionate, confidential support while helping build suicide-safer communities through education, training, and outreach.

The Assistant, Community Learning & Engagement supports the successful delivery of Community Learning & Engagement (CLE) programs, workshops, and logistical support by ensuring workshops are organized, accessible, and have the resources needed to be delivered effectively for community partners, participants, and facilitators. This role is responsible for the administrative aspect of workshop bookings, provides logistical support for training sessions, and assists with a range of departmental administrative functions. Through accurate coordination and responsive administrative support, this role contributes to positive participant experiences, effective program delivery, and the successful reach of CLE initiatives within the community.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, customer service, and supporting meaningful community programs.

This is a regular part-time position working 20 hours per week, primarily based onsite at our Vancouver office.
Occasional evening and weekend work is required to support workshops and community programming.
Due to the nature of our work, employees may occasionally be exposed to sensitive or emotionally complex subject matter. Professionalism, confidentiality, and respect are essential.
