Job summary

McGill University, through the Bensadoun School of Retail Management, seeks a part-time events intern to support the Maxime Cohen’s Book Celebration. The role includes greeting guests, registration help, and assisting in setup/teardown for event days.

The ideal candidate is enrolled in MBA/MMA or U2 of the McGill BCom program with a retail focus and has strong MS Office skills, good organization, and client service orientation. English and French are assets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 1 year related experience preferred.
• Candidates should be pursuing or have completed MBA/MMA studies with Retail focus.
• English and French are assets; strong computer and critical thinking skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• To greet guests and assist with registration at the Maxime Cohen's Book Celebration events.
• To be part of the event team and help with setup and teardown.
• Support the event operations under the Bensadoun School of Retail Management.
