Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of curling experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide front-line customer service.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to supervise volunteers and assistants.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and deliver high-quality curling lessons for all levels.
  • Stay current with industry trends and new class formats.
  • Greet and engage participants with a high level of front-line customer service.
  • Communicate with participants about lesson opportunities and safety.
  • Maintain vigilance on duty and respond to emergencies.
  • Supervise and mentor volunteers and assistants.
  • Complete administrative duties such as attendance and incident reports.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy program space and ensure equipment is stored properly.
  • Report concerns, accidents, and incidents to the supervisor for action.
  • Understand department programs and services.
  • Attend meetings and training as required.
