Job summary

Oxford Learning Brampton Churchville is hiring part-time teacher-tutors to help students excel in math and science after school and in the evenings. This in-person role at Brampton Churchville runs 4:00pm–8:00pm with some Saturdays; training will be provided and lessons are pre-planned.

Eligible candidates have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent; teaching certification is an asset and a vulnerable sector check is mandatory. The work is student-facing with up to three students at a time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field.
• Experience tutoring math and science at Grade 9–12 level.
• Strong English communication and math ability.
• Familiarity with senior math courses (Calculus, vectors, physics, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 3 students at a time at different levels.
• Teach online and in-person.
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies.
• Fill in post-lesson notes.
• Complete daily student communication updates.
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner.
