  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field (e.g. Gerontology, Recreation & Leisure, Kinesiology, Physical Education).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in recreation programming and/or facility management.
  • Able to work variable hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise staff and volunteers to promote effective employee relations and productivity.
  • Coordinate program development, budgeting and reporting to the Recreation Supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with legislations, policies, and standards.
  • Provide staff training and development and continuous program quality assurance.
  • Improve customer experience through service excellence and community engagement.
