GardaWorld is seeking a Part Time Commercial Security Guard in Calgary, AB. You will monitor security systems, conduct patrols, and control access to secure areas to prevent threats in diverse environments, including security centers and construction sites.

The role emphasizes sharp observation, reporting, and collaboration with law enforcement when needed. We offer training through GardaWorld Academy, flexible shifts, and uniform provisioning.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.

As a Commercial Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escal… in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
