GardaWorld is hiring a Full-Time Camp Security Guard in Fort McMurray, Alberta. You will monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and conduct patrols to safeguard premises. The role requires an Alberta security license, First Aid, and strong report writing abilities.

Training and uniform are provided to support career growth within GardaWorld. The position offers an hourly wage of about $19.77+ per hour, a 14 on/14 off schedule, and accommodation, with opportunities for continuing

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Alberta security license.
• First aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Full Class 5 Driver's License (advanced).
• Clean Driver's Abstract.
• CSO - Common Safety Orientation.
• Able to pass a drug test panel 8.
• Proficient with security technology systems.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalte in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
