Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for a secured site in London, Ontario. You will monitor CCTV and access control, report incidents, and patrol the premises to ensure safety.

We offer flexible shifts, full-time and part-time opportunities, and training through GardaWorld Academy to enhance your security skills.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and ability to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises.
• Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies.
