Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Full-Time Camp Security Guard in Alberta to monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and document events across security operation centers, construction sites, parking areas and gatehouses.

Responsibilities include patrols, access control, and collaboration with law enforcement when necessary. GardaWorld provides accommodation, education through GardaWorld Academy, uniforms, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Alberta security license.
• First aid certification.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Full Class 5 Driver's Licence.
• Clean Driver Abstract.
• CSO - Common Safety Orientation.
• Be able to pass a drug test panel 8.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identification.
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.

Ready to suit up as a Full- Time Camp Security Guard Security Guard

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escape in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.

• Schedule is 14 on 14 off, 12- hour shifts
