Job summary

The City of Brantford is seeking a part-time Box Office Ticket Seller for the Sanderson Centre in Brantford. You will sell tickets, answer questions, and assist patrons both on the phone and in person.

Responsibilities include data entry, general office duties, and providing information on performances. A flexible schedule with days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required, with a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral.
• Excellent telephone manner is essential.
• Previous experience as a Cashier and/or knowledge of ticketing systems is an asset.
• A current Police Information Check dated within the past 3 months is required before starting.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets to events at the Sanderson Centre and assist patrons by phone and in person.
• Provide information about performances and local activities to patrons.
• Input sale details and customer data into the computer system.
• Perform general office duties such as filing, typing, and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
