Job summary

The City of Brantford is seeking an Arena Attendant (Part-Time) to support arena operations at TD Civic Centre/Lions Park Arena. The role includes timekeeping, patrolling, cleaning and assisting with events, in a schedule that covers evenings, weekends and holidays.

Applicants must hold a First Aid CPR Level C certificate and provide a police clearance. This non-union, part-time position offers a hybrid work environment within Brantford’s Parks and Recreation team.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent communication & customer service skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate with a level "C" CPR must be submitted prior to commencing employment.
• A current Police Clearance Certificate (dated within the past 3 months) must be submitted for approval by the Corporation prior to commencing employment

Responsibilities

• Move nets and assist with rink operations.
• Clean dressing rooms, sweep stands and bleachers.
• Timekeeping and skate patrolling tasks, snow removal as needed.
• Support with Special Events and general arena duties.
