Job summary

The Department of Environment and Climate Change is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Regular Park Clerk position in Swan River. Join the Mountain Park District and play a key role in supporting Manitoba's provincial parks. As a Park Support Clerk, you will provide administrative, financial, payroll, and customer service support that helps keep district operations running efficiently while delivering excellent service to staff, visitors, Indigenous communities, partners, and the public.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Experience providing clerical and administrative support in an office environment.
  • Experience performing accounting and financial administration support including processing accounts payable and receivable transactions, reconciliation, and maintaining financial records.
  • Experience processing payroll and maintaining attendance and personnel records.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to plan workload, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume work environment.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Effective written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of internal and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately and thoroughly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook or similar applications.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
