The Department of Natural Resources and Indigenous Futures is seeking a qualified candidate to fill a Forest Planning and Development Technician position with the Forestry and Peatlands Branch in Winnipeg.
Duties: Reporting to the Timber Administration Lead, the Forest Planning and Development Technician supports the Timber Administration Lead in the tracking and reporting of Crown timber harvested throughout Manitoba. The position also supports field operations related to scaling, peatlands management, and forestry operations, as they pertain to the management of Crown forests and provincial peatlands.
