Job description

The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years' experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high-rise rental properties.

We are looking for experienced Painters to join our team in London / Sarnia.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Paint walls, ceilings, doors, hallways, and shelving in Apartment Units.
2. Prepare surfaces to be plastered.
3. Fill in nicks and cuts in ceilings, walls, and partitions using plaster.
4. Repair walls with drywall.
5. Sand areas after each coat making drywall paint-ready.
6. Drywall Repairs, Taping, and Plastering.
7. Drywall Installation is considered an asset.
8. Framing with Metal Studs is considered an asset.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. At least 3 years’ experience.
2. Own Tools Required. They are not supplied.
3. Quality and Speed are assessed.
4. Able to problem solve on-site and off-site.
5. Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule.
