Job summary

Concord Hospitality's Calgary Downtown property is seeking an experienced Night Manager to oversee all overnight operations, ensure service excellence, and lead a dedicated night team.

The role requires at least three years in a supervisory Front Office capacity, a hospitality degree, and a commitment to safety. You will handle guest concerns, manage emergencies, and uphold brand standards while working overnights, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years’ experience as a supervisor or Front Office Leader in a similar full-service hotel.
• Hospitality or Tourism degree required.
• Outstanding work ethic, reliability, punctuality and approachability with a strong safety commitment.
• Solid leadership skills with ability to train, coach and motivate a team.
• Able to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest levels of customer service to guests and associates at all times.
• Act as primary duty manager during overnight hours and supervise the night team.
• Handle guest concerns, complaints and service recovery professionally.
• Oversee night houseperson and ensure overnight safety checks are completed.
• Manage emergencies, incidents, and problem-solve to maintain brand standards.
• Monitor check-in/check-out flow and conduct regular hotel walkthroughs.
