Bissell Centre in Edmonton is seeking an Agency Support Worker (Overnight) to provide frontline support across programs, with night shifts typically 8 hours (up to 12). The role emphasizes a person-centred, trauma-informed approach within housing stability contexts.

You will engage with participants to assess needs, document outcomes using agency tools, assist with daily living tasks, and connect people to community resources.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Human Services or related field.
• 2–3 years of direct experience helping vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible frontline support across assigned programs.
• Build respectful relationships using person-centred, trauma-informed approaches.
• Identify needs and complete assessments and documentation using agency tools.
• Implement care and support plans in collaboration with the team.
• Assist with daily living skills, housing stability, and navigation of services.
