Job summary

GoodLife Fitness is seeking a Customer Service Representative (Motivator) in Calgary to warmly greet members, manage check-ins, and guide prospective members. You will answer calls, assist on the floor with equipment and memberships, and provide Fit-Fix Starter sessions while maintaining a welcoming, clean club environment.

You will be part of a team focused on delivering an exceptional member experience, supported by ongoing training and a fun, energetic atmosphere.

Qualifications

• CPR-A and AED certification required.
• Smart Tan certification within 3 months of employment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-focused with excellent service mindset.
• Team-oriented with willingness to help others.
• Approachable and diplomatic in interactions.
• Knowledge of the fitness industry preferred.
• Proficient with computers and basic software.
• Experience in customer service and sales an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and check them in for workouts.
• Answer incoming calls and book appointments.
• Assist members on the floor with questions about services and equipment.
• Explain memberships and club amenities; promote offerings when appropriate.
• Handle member questions and resolve issues professionally.
• Provide Fit-Fix Starter sessions for new and current members.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform club maintenance tasks as needed.
• Attend monthly meetings and participate in training sessions.
